Starlight is Falling has received some wonderful pre-publication recognition: I learned recently that I’ve been awarded a Sloan Books Grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to support my work on researching and writing the book! This support has already been invaluable for working on the manuscript, especially since the Quanta and Oneworld teams and I are planning on a Fall 2027 publication date; that may sound far away but in book-publishing land it feels like it’s going to be here any day now.

I’m hugely grateful to the Sloan Foundation, and to past Books grant recipients who encouraged me to apply and offered invaluable advice. I’m thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to dedicate time to writing the book this summer and can’t wait for everyone to read it!
